From the Main Menu options will bring up the new XML file pop up window. This window contains two fields. The first field is the name of the actual file that will be created and saved in your "xml" folder. If the name you enter is the same as a file that already exists in the folder, the previous file will be overwritten. The second field is the label that will appear on the new tab that will automatically be created and added to the menu once you click "Create File." After creating a new XML file, your menu settings will automatically be saved.
